The owners of this traditional Minneapolis house wanted an addition and remodel to modernize both the interior function and exterior aesthetic of their home.  The ceiling was raised on the first floor and the floor plan was simplified to give it a large, spacious feeling.  A two level addition was added to the back of the house for an expanded kitchen with a large island on the first floor and a new second floor master suite with a private deck.  3D modelling was used during the design phase of this project to let the owners explore various exterior cladding options and to help with visualization.
