This project was a remodel of an existing office space.  It involved joining two separate business spaces into a cohesive, modern 5,981 square foot dental clinic.  The programming spaces include: a large light filled lobby, 2 reception areas, a refreshment counter, 19 procedure rooms (10 hygiene rooms and 9 operatives), 2 sterilization rooms, a lab, 2 consultation rooms, administrative and doctor's offices, an employee lounge and restrooms.

Some of the design goals were to capture the natural light from the large exterior windows and allow it to flow through to the inner spaces.  This was accomplished by having large, open transoms on both sides all the interior corridors.  Another goal was to create an elegant and homey feel while still maintaining a clean and professional environment.  Textural variety and soft lighting were integrated as well as flexible wall decorations with shelving in each procedure room so that hygienists, dentists and their assistants can personalize their own spaces.

Finish costs were reduced by salvaging and reusing the existing maple doors and trim and retrofitting existing cabinetry into the receptionist areas.
