This existing mid-century modern home in Edina has been re-designed to have the main floor living spaces opened up and larger south facing windows have been added to allow for better views and connection to the large backyard.  The main floor bedrooms have been restructured to create a master suite with a master bath and larger closet, a laundry and another bedroom with a walk-in closet.

 

For additional quality living space and usable square footage, the existing basement, which has 9 foot ceilings has been remodeled to include 2 bedrooms, a full bath, a large family/game room, powder room and laundry closet.  The family room has large, south facing light wells to allow more southerly light to come into the basement.

The exterior has updated finishes and an added pergola to give the front door more curb appeal and a better sense of entry.
